Real-time AI phone interpretation

Speak with every client, in their language, in under a minute.

SimulationEspañol

Necesito reportar un accidente de esta mañana.

One phone number connects your staff, your client and a live AI interpreter. No scheduling, no waiting on hold, no per-appointment minimums.

< 2starget latency from end of phrase to interpretation
24/7available, no interpreter scheduling
$0.79per minute, billed by the second, no contract and no minimum

Latency is a target measured server-side between end of phrase and start of interpretation. Published phone interpretation rates run roughly $1 to $3 per minute, and lower on some state procurement contracts; compare against the rate you are actually quoted.

    0.9s

I need to report an accident from this morning.

Do you have the policy number handy?

  3. Sí, pero no sé cuál es mi deducible.

Yes, but I don't know what my deductible is.

How it works

A simple call flow your team can learn in one minute.

  1. Call your number

Your team dials the Parlaya line from any registered phone.

  2. Pick language and destination

Choose the language pair and enter the number of the person to reach.

  3. Talk naturally

A three-way call starts and the AI interpreter translates both directions in real time.

No client should have to bring a relative along to be understood.
Sectors

Made for your practice

Law firms

Client intake, case updates and appointment coordination with Spanish-speaking clients, with correct legal terminology.

Real estate

Showings, lease terms and closing logistics explained clearly to every buyer or tenant.

Insurance

Claims intake and policy questions handled accurately: deductibles, premiums, coverage.

Where it changes the call

The moment the language barrier stops being your problem.

A walk-in only speaks Mandarin. Intake used to mean rebooking them for next week and hoping they came back. Now the consultation happens the same afternoon.

Law firm intake

A tenant is about to sign a lease nobody has explained in their language. The clauses get read out one by one, on the call, before a signature exists.

Lease signing

A policyholder reports a collision and does not know what a deductible is. They get the answer in their own language, in the same call, instead of a callback in three days.

Claim intake

Usage scenarios, not customer testimonials. We will publish named references once clients agree to be quoted.

Transparent pricing

No contracts. No minimums. Billed per second.

To comply with California AI disclosure rules (AB 2905 / SB 243), every call announces that the interpretation is performed by an AI system before any interaction begins. Recording requires consent from both parties, and no audio is retained by default.

Questions

What buyers ask us first

What if the interpretation gets something critical wrong?

Every language pair has to clear a quality suite of 50+ reference phrases per sector before it goes live, and no pair ships until it passes. Either party can ask for a phrase to be repeated at any point in the call. For anything where an error is not recoverable, such as a court hearing, use a certified human interpreter, not us.

Are my conversations stored?

No audio is retained by default. Transcripts are only stored if you switch them on for your account, and recording additionally requires both parties to consent through the IVR. What we always keep is the call metadata we bill from: duration, language pair and whether the AI disclosure played.

Does it work with the phones we already have?

Yes. Any phone that can dial a number works: desk phone, mobile, softphone. No app, no headset, no hardware and nothing to install. Your team dials one number and follows the prompts.

What happens if the call drops?

Billing stops at the second the call ends, so a dropped call is not billed as a full minute. Redial and you are back in a new session. If a drop was caused on our side, the minutes are credited back.

How is a partial minute billed?

Per second, rounded up to the next whole second, and metered server-side from the moment the interpreted call connects. A call of 1 minute 12 seconds bills as 1 minute 12 seconds, not as 2 minutes. There is no connection fee and no monthly minimum on the pay-as-you-go plan.

Can we use it in a court hearing or a medical appointment?

No. Court proceedings, emergency services and medical interpretation are outside what we offer, and we would rather turn the work down than expose you. Those settings generally require a certified human interpreter.
